INSIGNIA NEWS

NSDAR is pleased to announce that effective immediately, Hamilton Jewelers has been designated the official and exclusive provider of insignia for the National Society. Hamilton replaces J.E. Caldwell Company, which ceased operations late last year.

Established in 1912 and based in Princeton, New Jersey, Hamilton is a family-owned and operated company, currently managed by the third generation owner, Hank B. Siegel. In meetings with President General Linda Calvin and the Executive Committee in December, Mr. Siegel underscored the fact that throughout nearly 100 years of service to clients in their communities, Hamilton has remained dedicated to outstanding value, quality, and service above all. He also stated that his company prides itself on meticulous attention to detail, and will seek to demonstrate that quality in every point of business with DAR and its members.

Every effort is being made to avoid disruptions to the service being provided members. To this end, the phone numbers will remain the same as will the same service team from J.E. Caldwell that many of you have come to know over the years. Please note that in order to facilitate an expedient transition, the website address (www.jecaldwelldarstore.com) and the website itself will remain the same for the time being with references to Caldwell. With appropriate advance communication, this will ultimately be changed to reflect Hamilton Jewelers instead. All of these measures are being taken as a means to maintain the high level of customer service to which Hamilton is committed, and which members have come to expect.

In the months ahead, DAR will be working with Hamilton to explore opportunities for enhancing DAR products and services. In the meantime, we believe that members will find that insignia operations will continue without interruption.
